Is it a Do or a Don't?

The first outfit (from the POA NY Premiere) 

Note: Our comments are (hopefully) the truth, and just our opinions. 

 

My comments (Mia's) are in green, while my commentor's (Gwen) is in blue.

Mia's Comments. . . Well, it kind of looks like a towel. . .

 

Gwen's Comments. . . Love the hair here... But it looks a little hard from all that hairspray.

 

Mia: Yeah, if you poke it I bet it wouldn't move. . .

 

Gwen: Interesting shoes... Planning on stabbing somone with your feet?

 

Mia: Nice jewels, though. Mwah hahhaha.

 

Gwen: Ah, yes... Classic foot pose. For ballet.

 

Mia: So true.  The top is a bit off. ..  Literally.

 

Gwen: Yea, might want to pull it up... Again.

Gwen: Look at that red carpet... Its so red.

 

Mia:  Hahaha yeah.  Blinding actually.  However, she was too busy doing her hair that she forgot to change into her ACTUAL dress. . . sigh.  That's why the towel is crinkly.  She had already used it to dry with.

 

Gwen: LMAO!

 

Overall critic?  A don't.  Why?  Don't go out with a towel.

 

 

 

London POA

 

Mia:  "Well, I think the color is pretty..."
Gwen:  "I like the flowers. You can’t see here, but the earrings match. Very nice."                                                                                   

Mia:  "I don't especially like the veil type thing on her shoulders, but besides that..."
Gwen::  "Yea, it looks itchy."
Mia:  "Hahhaha.  There is more of it on the sides of her dress, too." 
Mia:  "I adore her shoes!  Very satin looking."
Gwen:  "Lol, yea, they are really cute."
Mia:  "She looks so happy here!  I am glad!  In the newer pictures, she looks so upset (remember Wedding Crashers?)."

Gwen:  "Yea, that was sad.... But maybe she was just self conscious of her braces."
Mia:  "Probably....It's not like she really needed them, either.  Oh wait, we are off topic!  The poka dots are a bit strange on the dress, but in a way they are kinda cool." 

Gwen:  "Yea, they are the bit I’m not sure of..."
Mia:  "Well, it could be worse.  Remember Baftas 2003?  That horrible multicolored dress?"

Gwen:  Uggh!
Mia:  "Quite horrible." 
Mia:  "The fans are going mad behind her!  And for a good reason, too.  The outfit is acceptable." 
Gwen:  "Lol"
Mia:  "So, my dear Gwen (lol like 'My dear Watson... lol), is this a do or a don't?"
Gwen:  "I think it is a do.... What about you?"
Mia:  "LOL nice rhyming!  I think it's a do, too." 
Mia:  "Yes, I know.  I rhymed..."
Gwen:  "Lol, and I didn't even mean to..."
Mia:  "What do you think she needs to improve on?"
Gwen:  "Maybe... Her eyes are pretty, but could look a bit over done anywhere else. [Mia's note: I put in an "eye" picture.  See below]

Mia:  "Haha, yeah the smirking is very stupid, if you don't mind me saying.  I actually like the eyes... I think the outfit was a bit Granny with the lace, but I like it besides that..." 
Gwen:  LOL!

Baftas 2005

Gwen: Okay... Shes a little pale, and with the green gray that makes her look a bit... Weird.
Mia: Well.... I absolutely love the green, though. But the square cut is all wrong. She would do better with an oval or v neckline, in my opinion.
Gwen:  Yea. And the green color is pretty, but she should have better matching shoes.
Mia:  Yes, the shoes throw me WAAYYY off.
Mia:  Feathers??  No. And yet, this is one of my favorite Emma looks.  I love her hair, earrings, dress (besides the neckline).
Gwen: Earrings; nice. Hair... A little Jojoish as I've said. I don’t like Jojo, she’s scary.
Mia:  I hate Jojo, too.  But... haha Well.... I like her hair better wavy than straight.  It gives it more volume.
Gwen:  Yuppers!
Mia:  I do think that this is her best outfit ever.  Which is saying something. Well, actually, I'm not sure it is.
Mia: Ooh yeah, she gets an award for that dress!

Overall critic?  A definite do!!

NYC GOF Premiere

Mia:  Right... well, first off, she ironed it.  Did you notice? She shouldn't have.  It should have been softer looking.  But she made it flat. Which is why the runway model looked so different in it.
Gwen:  Lmao! I didnt notice that before, but now I do :). Nice observation! I'm not to fond of the net-meshish topbit.... But it does need something no top. Cute shoes.... Emma's ballet flat fetish XDD
Mia: haha Very funny. But true!  hehehehe
Gwen:  I love her hair, its a good minimalistish look for her.
Mia:  hahha.  My mom actually asked why I was on there!  Jokingly, of course.  The straight her threw her off.
Gwen:  NFPTS: She needs a less pointy bra... o_O.
Mia:  I think that's the dress.
Gwen:  LOL
Mia:  But then again.... that GOF photocall... gahhh not good

Gwen:  Yea, I don't fancy them with the outfit, but in general... Cuteness!!

Mia:  Claires has to be the best store EVER for Alice bands/headbands.  After all, they have like a whole shelf of them.

Gwen:  I must make note...
Mia:  I went shopping over the weekend and I bought a really cool one with lace coming out of each side, so they trail against my hair.  It's really cool!!
Mia:  right, well, every Emma picture now has a headband.  scary.
Gwen:  COOL!!
Mia:  scary but cute, that is.
Gwen:  I need to get some... Boo ha.

Gwen:  lol
Mia:  hahah they are like $6.
 

Critic?  A do.  But please please please please PLEASE no pointy bras!  Yuck.  (Or is it the dress??)

 

POA DVD Release

My Comments are in Red, while my sister, who is in college for Fashion Design, is in purple-pink.

Holly:   I'd have to say:  ghetto much?

Mia: hahha

Mia: Yes, Ghetto much
Holly: Emma is being swallowed by her jacket (which seems to be buttoned wrong)

Mia: lol  Dan, I have to say, is wearing a leather jacket.... Or pleather? um...

 Holly: Dan is going for some type of James Dean (bad boy) look...and failing miserably
 

Mia: You know.... I think Rupert looks the best of the bunch... Which is terribly wrong...
Holly: Rupert actually looks the best out of the 3
Holly: Wow- I just wrote that!

Mia: Lol!

Mia: heheh anyhow.... um... any opinion of the dorky blue purses?
Holly: Doesn't match and I don't like the rolled up pants either
 

Mia: Did you see Ginny in the first picture?  She definitely looks the best!
 

Mia:  Ginny looks the best, I'm telling you.  Emma needs a belt rather badly....
Holly: Well, it's just that her clothes are falling off of her...literally.

*Here is where Holly makes a crack at my eyesight*

Mia:  What's bad is that this was for the POA DVD release.... How the heck did they sell any dvds with the actors wearing these horrid clothes?!?
Mia:  Ms. CONTACTS!!
Holly: Hahaha --  Maybe they thought that no one would come?!
 

Mia:  Why does Rupert look so mad in that last photo?  Maybe because Dan is leaning on Emma....?
 

Mia:  Okay, any final thoughts?  

Holly: Let me see- horray for Rupert; boo to everyone else

Holly: Emma needs a new stylist

Mia:  She doesn't have one ><    She needs one, though, in these pictures...
Holly:  Dan needs to be taller...and wear better clothing
Holly:  Rupert, amazingly enough, is fine
 

Mia:  Just a side note... They look like they all have dandruff, but it's just sparkles.... (I hope)
 

Holly: Maybe Rupert has better fashion sense than the rest of them...

Mia: Yes, Rupert is freakyishly enough the best dressed....
Holly:  (or maybe it's because he's gay!)
