Right, well here are my thoughts.... First off, Warner Brothers were interfering with Emma's and Dan's "fun."  Whenever they got too close, they separated them.

At the actual premiere part, watch this:

Super happy!! Maybe because she's very close to her Dan-ikins? hehhe

Now, Warner Brothers doesn't want to stir up any trouble like they did for POA.  How would it look if Dan starting dating the girl who played Hermione instead of the girl who played Cho?  That's why they told Dan to pose with Katie(Cho) for the rest of the time, while Emma got stuck with some weirdo.

At the after party, Emma sees Dan with Katie.  WB won't let Emma and Dan dance with each other!  So she has THIS weirdo:

sit with her while she sulks.  How sad :(

 

And he follows her everywhere!  How can she have any time for peace and quiet with Dan while this "friend" is following her?  She obviously doesn't like him, and is even avoiding him.  Yuck.  She seems to be snoozing half the time because she is so bored.  Why would a girl who is so "bubbly" and "outgoing" be sulking in a corner?  It doesn't make since.
