"The hippogriff was therefore a symbol of impossibility and love." Quote from a Wikipedia article
Princess found a theory about Buckbeak and the symbolism he plays in the HP books, and so she is sharing it with us (with her own comments and interpretations) :D
so its like this.. in Greek mythology
a hippogriff <w/c is Buckbeak> is the symbol of love!! we've seen
Harry and Hermione flew on buckbeak <w/ Hermione clinging on Harry
on a moonlit night> to rescue Sirius on POA right??.. plus on the
Order of the Phoenix.. Harry is <w/ Buckbeak> on Buckbeak's room
<the time he locked himself away from the others.> when Hermione
arrives there pink faced and persuade him to open it up and go with
her..
i dunno.. but it really does made
sense to me.. symbol of love with Harry and Hermione???..
![]() gahHHh..
come on.. what was JKR playing at??.. and she does used a lot of
symbols anyway..
Mia's comments:
Okay, so we think that JKR is saying that the H/Hr ship is impossible...
but is also the ship of love? A lot of cute H/Hr moments do indeed
happen around Buckbeak. *sighs* Why don't they just get
together already?! Ooooo! But since it's impossible... maybe
Voldie will have killed Harry before Harry and Hermione get their true
feelings out! =( |
