first of all this is a theory of Dan and Emma's
relationship:
I think that Dan and Emma's relationship has been
really weird:
1 Because at the very beginning , when they were
really kids , they couldn't have a relationship , because they were
too young but still they had that (little thing between each other ,
like Dan's crush at the very beginning for example).
2 And then the time passed and the true feelings were
coming out. They finally accepted that they have something for
each other, so they had a relationship.
And it was at the moment of the POA premiere when
the whole feelings and the relationship were coming out.
Mia's comment: Remember all of the hand holding? Yup. I think that it was coming out, too!!!
3 But they were so young and inexperienced that, they
were holding hands and everything but, it was a little problem in
their relationship... THE MEDIA (TABLOIDS)
They really freaked out because it was too much
pressure (especially Emma I think).
And soon enough, the whole media knew it, and with
that came the interviews about their relationship so they really
freaked out again ,and decided to break up.
Mia's comments (again): Either that, or just decided to keep it a secret!
4 Besides they really didn't want to end a really
good friendship , but it was really hard for them because they were
really in love. And the other main problem was: What about if
they broke up and they really didn't want to talk to each other
anymore? That will be really odd and they simply can't handle
it.
Mia's comments: Yeah, that would be awkward and it would feel like you were losing your best friend.
5 So that's why they decided to brake up (but they
really like each other).
And it doesn't matter that the time has passed, they
really do like each other. I guess they are in love, so that's
why they are dating other people, so they can forget the thing that
they have. But at the same time, they don't want to forget what they
had and to accept again to themselves that they are in love (because
they are not brave enough).
6 Because they are not brave enough to tell
themselves that, they made it up with the hold hands and just about
all of the other ship moments that we have come across.
They do not want to accept that they are in love, and
yet they find themselves flirting with each other. It's like
they know that they have something that is still there but they
don't want to say it out loud. Maybe it's because they are
afraid of what could happen. The media will have a field day,
and the fans of other ships would be angry and/or confused.
Also, their friendship could be in jeopardy.
We just need someone to push them to tell each other
their true feelings AGAIN like Alfonso Cuaron.
Mia's comments: He was the POA director, FYI. Haha I liked him, as he was the one who included all of the cute ship moments ^_^ Also, by the time he was done with POA, the two lovebirds were holding hands at the premiere! Awwww
