OoTP LA Premiere!  (by me!)

HP PREMIERE!!!  OMGGGG IT WAS AMAZING!  Seriously, we all got onto like every single news-station imaginable.  And even one from Australia!  We had to wait for a while, butttt it was in the shade and we were sitting down for most of it, so it was all good.

Our junk pile!  hahah notice the piece of yellow paper =)  That was our poster that we had just drawn XD

And here is the theater beforeee a LOT of people came:

Me and Gracie dressed up in our t-shirts that I made for us, and it was really kewl!  But that is ALL we dressed up in, unlike a lot of random freaky peoples who had been there since 11 pm THE NIGHT BEFORE and were in complete HP costume.  CRAZY!!!!!  Why do that to yourself?!!!  Anyhow, we all got filmed by cbs, nbc, abc, fox, mtv, vh1, and quite a few others.  By the end, I know that I was sooo sick of cameras >.<  gahhhhhh I hate cameras!  So at the actual premiere, we first saw Rupert Grint, and he was taking his slow time signing things and therefore signed about 10 autographs before his bodyguard came and dragged him away >.<  He did look a little upset about this, though, so at least he was nice about not being able to sign too much.

Rupert:  (so close, but so far!  You can't tell from the pics, but his shirt actually has a picture of Harry on it!  hahah XDDD =)

Thennnn Emma Watson came and was frantically signing everything, so I got her autograph =D  She was really nice and was just making sure everyone in the front two rows got something =)  Her bodyguard tried twice to pull her away to her interviews, but she kept tugging him away so that she could sign some more.  Finally he like pulled on her dress, and so she had to go, but first she blew kisses and waved and was saying that she was sorry that she had to go.  lol  =)

And after her interview, she snuck out again to sign some more!  lol yay for actually good celebrities ^_^

So now it was like 5 pm and Dan still hadn't shown up, and so we were wondering if he was even going to, buttttt he didn't!   >.<  Grrr!  But geeeez it was so crowded there!  At least everyone around me were nice people =)  Shout outs to Munchkin, Emerson Lover, and Tie Girl! =D

After about 15 more minutes of waiting, the reporters started to go home and we were all like "..." that Dan hadn't come to his own premiere!  But as it turns out, he just didn't sign anything for fans.  He just snuck in the back to his interviews instead of talking with his fans.  Grrrr.  Dan is sooo not my man anymore!  >.<  *clings to drake*

We also saw the guy who plays cedric diggory (he has very sexy hair!  haha), the maker of Mugglenet (he's VERY VERY cute and is like 19 years old!  but he was like wearing eyeliner or something to look better on camera, since he got to go into the actual theater.  >.<  grrrrr   but you can't stay too mad at someone like him, cause he's just too cute ^_^  ) haha  Umm and we also saw Hannah Montana (god I hate her), Melissa Joan Hart (who is kinda old now), Anna Sofia (from Because of Windixie), andddd I'm sure there were some more peoples, but I can't think of any.  haha  This was such a good experience for any Harry Potter lover, and I highly recommend it!

GOF NY (From my very cool friend Gwen!)

After reaching New York and the Ziegfeld Theater (At about 11:30 AM)

my father, myself, and my friend tried to get out bearings. The area was already packed with people, many of which had been standing around since 3:00 AM. The sidewalk area, which had barricades in front of it to stop mad fans running at the stars, was very small; about eight or so feet. It was also across the street from the theater, so there was a lot of room between the fans and the action.

My father had no idea how a premiere worked, so he crossed the street and asked one of the police overseeing the set up of barriers and the red carpet. The man was nice, but knew very little. I stood to the side and took pictures of the set up, which included barriers, a tent, loads of red carpet, and Harry Potter posters. My dad decided to ask on of the reporters who explained how the stars would get out of their cars at a certain spot and then pose for the cameras and attempt to interact with fans. At that point a police man had spotted me taking pictures and told me to return to my rightful spot across the street. Being a law abiding citizen and all, I did.

At this point it became apparent that we should have arrived much earlier. However, when we got behind the barricades and everyone else who had already been there, we realized we were about the fourth 'row' of people. Somehow, during the excitement, I made it to the third row while my friend got pushed back to the fifth. I am about 5'3, so many of the people there were a few inches taller then me. I couldn't see too well, but it wasn't awful. Basically, we stood around for three and a half hours doing nothing but staring at all the reporters. Then things started to get interesting.

At about 2:55 PM a limo pulled up at the drop off spot. I was positioned right in front of the drop out area, and everyone was screaming. However, it turned out to be two girls no one knew.

Then, at around 3:00 PM Jamie Waylett (Crabbe or Goyle) showed up in a limo. He was first, so there was loads of shouting and stuff. He got out of his car/limo thing and got some pictures taken. Then I think he came and signed things for fans, but I can't quite remember. After that, several producers and stuff like that arrived. I can't remember if it was before Katie or not, but then Mike Newell arrived and there was all this "is that the director?" sort of talk.

Either after or before that, Katie arrived. She was great; she got out of her car and stood around with the reporters for like, two seconds. Then she came and signed LOADS of things for fans. One boy, right in front of me, got her signature and got to give her a high five. Although, he got a little obnoxious, which was really annoying. So I got within about six-eight feet of her for a few minutes before she moved on. She seemed really cheerful, happy, and nice from what I saw of her.

After that, either the twins or Rupert arrived. I think it was the twins, so I'll go in that order. I got loads of pictures of the Phelps twins, whose hair was black and fairly short. They also came pretty much right over to fans and signed loads of stuff. They seemed really happy to be there, but then again all the stars did.

After (or before) that Rupert arrived. I can't honestly say I saw too much of him. At that point, the people behind me began to push forward like mad, the police gave us all a talk, and they wouldn't let anyone near us. Rupert didn't go right out to fans; he had to give a long interview. After loads of chants of 'Rupert, Rupert, Rupert' he finally came out and promptly skipped my section of the barricades and went down to the fans closer to the Theater entrance. That was a shame, and then I really didn't see much of him. However, while being interviewed, I saw he was wearing a navy blue vest shirt with an almost air force logo thing on the arm. Weird.

After this, Emma Watson's strange stalker person came to the premiere and stood around with a little boy with red hair. He was the guy who sat with Emma at the after party for the London premiere… No one knows who he really is!

Then Ralph Fiennes arrived. He was SO not the embodiment of all evil that I expected. He actually seemed really nice, cheerful, and came promptly over to fans and started signing things. I got about as close to him as I got to Katie Leung.

Somewhere in there, someone said the guy who plays Mad Eye came. I don't know if this is true, I saw someone but I didn't know who it was. Then again, I don't even know who plays Mad Eye. Then everyone went wild, absolutely mad. Dan arrived, and it was like WOAH! People would have trampled their own Grandmothers to get to him. He got out of his limo, waved, and was ushered off for a long interview. Then apparently he came and signed stuff, but I barely saw him save for when he got out of him limo, and I didn't get any good pictures of that. He also passed by me, but I took a picture too soon (my cameras slow).

Then Emma arrived… (Insert fan girl squee here) Well, she got out of her limo and I saw her for about seven seconds, waving and grinning at all her fans like mad. Everyone was cheering, almost as loud as it was for Dan. Then she was ushered off for an interview and I only caught sight of her back and head briefly. She was not allowed to come near my section of pushy-people because they were scary. Trust me; they were.

Alex arrived soon after her or with her, I can't remember. He was great, he signed stuff for people in my area and just stood there grinning. He was good about all the attention. The boy who was obnoxious and also got Katie Leung's signature got his as well… Ger.

Then someone said Matthew Lewis arrived, but I couldn't see so there was really no hope for it. Somewhere at the end, Robert Pattinson arrived and everyone went wild. A chant was started of 'Robert, Robert, Robert' but he never came over to fans as far as I could tell. That was basically it as far as stars go.

While we were waiting, a man was coming around letting people try out the Harry Potter video game. I didn't try it, but apparently it was pretty cool. They handed out red carpet pieces and I got a bit! That was fabulous.

They also handed out stickers, which I didn't get. Also, apparently, some posters were handed out, which I also didn't get.

During the premiere, there were loads of chants for Emma, Robert, Dan, Rupert, and Katie. There was screaming, and pushing. There were even some arguments between obnoxious or hassled fans. Also, towards the start of the arrivals, there was a chant for 'Block it off'. They hadn't blocked the road yet and no one could see beyond the trucks and taxies flying by. They finally did block it off and all was well. All in all, the experience was amazing. I wish I had gotten there earlier, and next premiere I definitely will. I am also disappointed that fans would not work together to help each other see and all, although some people did try. I wish it had been a bit more organized as well. If you ever get the chance, go!! It's well worth it.
