Well... I just finished rereading book four a while ago.. and it struck with me some questions and thoughts...

 

It was on this book that an issue about Harry and Hermione being a couple comes out (thanks to Rita Skeeter for that).. but haven't you noticed why a lot of people are convinced that the two are a couple?

 

1. Colin Creevey-- it was he who had  told Rita Skeeter that Harry is always seen accompanied by Hermione granger!! And he is completely convinced that they are indeed a couple... (Just think- they are only one year older than Colin.. so he must have known and have seen the trio always being together.. but why does he think that something is going on with Harry and Hermione?  Why not Hermione and Ron?)

Because they are always fighting!  How would THAT look like a couple?!

 

2. Rita Skeeter- yeah she's too nosy on things but she's still convinced that they are indeed a couple!!

3. Krum- he was really convinced that something is going on.. that he even asked Harry to have a talked.. there was a part in the book where in Hermione told the two "for your information, he hasn't asked me one single thing about Harry, not one."

But when Harry and Krum had their talked.. Krum even mentioned that Hermione talks about him very often.. but would never talk about Ron. Why is that?  Is it Hermione lying or just hiding something?

I know!  I know!  It's because girls ALWAYS talk about the boy they like 24/7, even if they are saying it in passing.  It's funny how that works =)  I'm not sure she's trying to hide their relationship, actually :P

 

4. Molly Weasley- well.. she got cold to Hermione after reading Witch Weekly... and got convinced that the two really is a couple.  Well, she knows the kids very well  They even stayed in their house over the summer, and it is certain that she heard a lot about them through Ron.  But why does she still believe in Rita's article?   Unless she is seeing things worth thinking, eh??

LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL!  *agrees*  I never thought of that one before.  Hahahah XDDD  You would think that someone who knew them that well would just not pay any attention to the article, but even Harry's second mom did!  Weird.

 

5.- McGonagall- it was on the second book.. when Hermione got petrified.. she informed Harry first and just considered Ron on coming with them.. why is that??

Well.. other people who believe Harry and Hermione are indeed a couple.. Malfoy and the Slytherin gang!! I dunno if it's just a taunt but still.. they are convinced aren't they?

YES!

 

Goblet of fire in general begins the adolescent stage of the trio.. it was the time they started to have a crush.. but the main picture is Hermione and the three boys.. Harry, Ron and Krum. Now it was the time people starts to speculate about the real relationship of Harry and Hermione.. (thanks to Rita Skeeter).. Ron's feelings toward Hermione became more obvious because of the jealous thingy with Krum.  And Krum is really obvious.. but.. Hermione's feelings were not really described... or who she really likes among the three.. ( the answer is obviously Harry).

Yes, she scowled when Fleur kissed Ron.. but then Harry was also kissed by Fleur during those times.

And speaking of jealousy:

There is Krum's jealousy over Harry- why Hermione often talks about Harry if she is fully aware of Krum's likeness towards her.

Why bring up the subject about Harry.. if Viktor is really not asking about it?

Hahha!

Also during the Yule Ball, Harry is with his date and instead of listening to her, he goes and starts thinking about Hermione and what she is saying to Krum.  He is amazed that she isn't talking about SPEW, and is even thinking about initiating a conversation with her about that.  But then he remembers that she is on a date, too.  It's funny how he HATES SPEW, but then he is actually willing to talk about it if it means that he can be with Hermione for a few minutes!!!!

 

And the most important thing here is.. why does end it with Hermione kissing Harry?? Try to analyze it...

The facts is that Harry is the first guy Hermione has hugged.. and the first one she kissed?  Why does so many people say that their relationship is platonic if all those important things happened between the two?  What do you think?
