Rumors- Debunked!

 Rumor number one: Hermione obviously loves Ron because in POA, she clings to him rather than Harry right after Buckbeak "dies."

Right, so first off, we must examine a couple of things.  Okay, take this picture

Hermione seems to be making up her mind for which boy to cling to. 

And, she goes for Ron.  "SEE?!" call all the R/Hr people.  "She loves HIM!"

Ah, but maybe this is just a test?  Ron has no reaction whatsoever.  Now watch Harry, on the other hand.

Harry comforts her, unlike Ron.  Ron doesn't notice Hermione all over him.  Yeah, so I think Ron failed in this test.  And Harry got an A+!  Yay Harry!

So that's a rumor debunked!  Hermione was trying to figure out who actually liked her, and Ron didn't respond while Harry definitely did.  So, actually, this would classify as a Harry/Hermione moment, not a Ron/Hermione one.
